Marie-Claire was born and raised in the South of France but fell in love with Paris and its cultural heritage as soon as she came to the City of Light to finish her studies. She studied both foreign languages (German and English) and art history in Toulouse, Paris and Heidelberg, Germany. She has an international Masters degree from the Ecole du Louvre, where she now teaches art history, especially European painting from the 15th to the 19th centuries.
After a few months in an auction house, she worked for 5 years in the National Research Institute for Art History (INHA). She now worksfull time as a teacher and as a guide, specialized in private museum tours. Enthusiastic about sharing her passion for art, she also loves literature, fashion and gastronomy.
