Nicolas Ferrand has worked on Piet Mondrian and Takashi Murakami. He is now a nationally accredited tour guide, as well as the holder of a Doctorate in the history of contemporary art, thanks to a thesis devoted to Bertrand Lavier.
The transmission of cultural knowledge is very important for him. He holds a teaching position at the National School of Architecture in Marne-la-Vallée and continues at the same time to be an art critic.
His current research deals with postmodernism and tries to find new apprehensions of reality in art.
